Mt Blackwood consists of two areas - Blackwood Summit has multipitch dolerite, whereas Blackwood Rocks has shorter bolted sandstone.

Access

From Launceston travel via highway B51 to Poatina. Continue 7km past Poatina up the mountain and park just past a gravel road on the left with a locked gate.

Rock

Long dolerite or short sandstone.
