Big news - after two years of effort the Crag Stewards program is now fully live!!

Crag emails are up and running on theSarvo, and will be listed on The Crag shortly. These automatically direct emails to appropriate Stewards. You can view the Crag Stewardship Program document, which contains more details of the program, here: CCT Crag Stewardship v3.4.pdf

Thanks to the nominated Stewards for helping us maintain the relationships, access, and safety of our climbing areas, and to the many people who have put in the work to get the program to this stage. Stay tuned for a formal launch event!

  1. Nice work Langy. It is a shame I'll be overseas for the formal launch event, but great to see it go live online! I think this represents a significant development in our community as we become more integrated, cohesive and effective at looking after the crags.

It is also worth mentioning that behind the scenes many nominated stewards have been super helpful to our community already over the last 2 years! I don't want to list them all off here, but can't go past mentioning Christophe Speers - who has been a leading light for how to do Stewardship well while rehabing Lowdina out of obscurity back to be being a bustling crag, all the while keeping historic FA teams happy and most of all the landowner happy.

Also an amazing effort by Steve, Gerry and Pete at Hillwood. Catch you in a few months!
