I did Sentinel ridge yesterday, great fun.

at the start of the pitch where there is either a 15 or 17 option there is a new double bolt anchor and  even more strangely there is a u bolt a meter or two away. Why? Neither are neccessary or useful to the route and degrade its character in my view. Is there some reasonable justification that i am unaware of???

    Think they were put in for a slack line - person responsible said he would take them out as he didn't realise that Sentinel Ridge went there.... as he hasn't, reckon anyone who has time and gear should now remove them ASAP.

      I do believe that person was 'me' and I also believe that some people still want to complete the high-line... But if people are ofended by the bolts, feel free to remove.

        The highline is still on my to do list. I would appreciate if they weren't removed. If they do get removed please let me know as I will have to look at replacing them in a less degrading position.
