Am only recent to Tassie, living in Devonport.

I am looking for climbers in the north-west.

Prefer trad, leading to 19/20 on a good day at Arapiles.

A bit harder on bolts.

Have plenty of gear and enthusiasm.

    Hi Steve,

    I used to live in Devonport, here are a few tips:

    There are a group of climbers in Burnie who train at the Wynyard High School wall on Thursday nights.  The wall isn't much but it's a good way to meet climbers on the North West coast.  To get involved with this you would need to speak to Carolyn who is a teacher at the school.

    There are facebook groups for North West climbers and Launceston climbers.

    When I lived there I climbed mostly around Launceston with launie people.  It's only an hours drive to Hillwood and the Gorge.
