Richmond bouldering

The bouldering at Richmond is mainly on a large free standing boulder situated in a paddock. It is on private land, and the landowner is sensitive about people climbing here. Contact a local first before climbing here to get access instructions.
1. Mr.Jones     V10  
Sit start under steep north facing wall on small holds. Move left and up via small crimps to rounded top out. Classic.
2.      V9  
Low stand start a few moves into Mr. Jones - technically not a separate problem.
3.      V8  
Stand start variant to Mr.Jones.
4. Razor     V8+  
Stand start in middle of face on thin sharp gastons. High step and up through small holds to finish as for 1. Tip shredder.
5.      V6+  
Start as for 1 moving right of arete and up via bad holds to slab top out.
6.      V3  
Stand start 2 metres right of arete on good holds. Up to small edges to mantle slab top out.
7.      V9  
Sit start right of 6 on sloping break. Up and left to undercling and over slopey lip via bad holds to top out.
8.      V4+  
Stand start at lip just right of 7. Launch for break and grovel over the slopey lip.
9.      V5  
Sit start on small holds right of 8. Up to slopey edges and to good holds at lip. Classic for the grade.
10.      V1  
Up slab right of 9.
11.      V2/3  
Sit start just downhill of right hand arete. Up via edges to lip before traversing left and up and over arete. Many eliminates exist of about the same grade on this side. Traversing left to finish as for 9 is probably V4.
