The Tasmanian University Climbing Club is hosting a bouldering comp.

The comp will be run on the 2nd of October (Next Thursday) at 6pm. It will be down at the Uni Wall in the Sports and Rec Center (Google Maps link is posted below - i hope)

It's a pretty informal comp, but with some cool prizes for winning, and lucky door prizes for just showing up and being... well lucky..

But most of all theres going to be HEAPS of cool problems to crank out on!

PRICE: $10 for members AND non-members

    thanks to everybody that came, paid, and participated; and to those that even just came and watched.
    these comps only work if people turn up so its great to see so many people there and competing and having fun.

    special thanks to everyone that helped set problems, organise stuff, lent their bouldering pads, and generally helped out on the night.
    extra special thanks to those that made cakes for prizes, and helped sort out other prizes like vouchers, beer, and a half-finished scarf.

    well done to all those that won prizes, notably to Hamish and Callum for finishing the final traverse problem, but more notably to all those that won beer and then shared it with the rest of us.

    also, well done to all those that were lucky enough to win door and raffle prizes. (except perhaps Monsieur Beer Belly Edwards, who showed up, didnt climb, entered the raffle, and won a carton that his waistline probably doesn't need.)

    daylight savings has arrived and so has summer...
