    Apparently it was a climber who recently moved to Hobart who was doing the grade 9 variant of the Pulpit described in the Sarvo guide.   It appears he fell hitting the ground and suffering serious injuries.

      I have not been able to find out who he is.  I was in the hospital today getting my cast off from the foot I broke up there six weeks ago.  No one could give me any info.  I hope he is OK.  It is a funny crag which does deserve a lot of respect.  I don't know if I like it or hate Mt Wellington but I do know that it got the better of me on my last visit and I am still feeling it.  That sucks but at least I will be OK.

    His names Ken, hes a good bloke. Has only just moved here recently. Not sure of accident details, but thats not important. He has suffered some pretty serious sounding injuries. Our thoughts are with you brother and wish you the best recovery possible. Let us know if we can help!
